His first wife was Alcamy’s mother, Mary Jane Evans, they got married in 1985 and divorced in 1989 and got married to his second wife Jane Pollack from 1995 to 2006. Lance Henriksen was raised by his mother
Alcamy Henriksen’s grandfather was a Norwegian merchant sailor and boxer nicknamed “Icewater” who spent most of his life at sea, while her grandmother Marguerite Werner, was a dance instructor, waitress, and model. Lance’s parents divorced at a very young age- because of this, he was raised by his mother.
In an interview, he recalled at the age of seven his mother handed him his birth certificate and said, “You’ll always know who you are”, then pushed him out of his home. He also said he encountered all forms of abuse from his multiple family members including uncles and others. He grew up having a reputation for getting into trouble in the schools he attended. He served in the United States Navy from 1955 to 1958 and attained the rank of petty officer third class.
Before becoming an actor, Alcamy’s father worked as a muralist and a laborer on ships. He got his first acting role because he built the set for production and he was also a designer but he was illiterate so he started teaching himself how to read.

For his first role, he put the entire script to tape with the help of a friend, soon afterward he schooled and graduated from the Actors Studios and began his acting career in New York City, Lance got a lot of acting roles soon after, he also played a lot of villain roles including a rapist, pervert and a lot more.
