Caridad Rivera’s husband Matthew Avery Modine was born in Loma Linda, California, U.S. on 22 March 1959. He is the youngest of seven siblings. His parents are Dolores Warner, a bookkeeper, and Mark Alexander Modine, who manages a drive-in theater.
Stage actress, Nola Modine Fairbanks is his aunty and he is the great-grandson of Ralph Jacobus Fairbank, the prospector, and pioneer.
