Who is Claire Beck?
Claire was born Claire Ellen McCabe in the United States of America. She is the first woman Glenn Beck took to the altar. The former lovers first met while they were working at WPGC in Washington. They bonded and eventually started a relationship. The former spouses tied the knot in March 1984 in a beautiful wedding ceremony in the presence of their friends, families, and loved ones.
Glenn Beck and Claire Beck started on a good note with the couple’s marriage being blessed with two daughters: Mary Beck and Hannah Beck. Unfortunately, Mary developed cerebral palsy due to strokes she suffered during childbirth. During their time together Beck’s addiction to alcohol and drugs was a persistent problem in the family.
Though they promised each other forever, things didn’t go as planned. Claire decided she’d had enough and filed for divorce in 1994. Beck was going through a rough patch at the time, and he considered suicide while listening to a Nirvana album.
Kurt Cobain, the lead singer of Nirvana, committed suicide in 1994 over the same issues that Beck was dealing with per thenetline. Beck, on the other hand, remained strong, and rather than taking his own life, he decided to change it for the better.

Beck decided to reform his life the same year Claire left him, after abusing drugs every day for 15 years. As you might expect, it was really tough for him to change and make the best of the remaining of his life, but he had seen how drugs had affected his marriage and his children and drew some power from the pain to make some changes in his life.
Fortunately for him, he had help from friends, family, and his future wife Tania. He also credits Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) with helping him achieve sobriety. The Radio and TV host said he stopped drinking alcohol and smoking cannabis in November 1994, the same month he attended his first AA meeting.

In 1999, Glenn Beck tied the knot for the second time with Tania Colonna. According to sources, after their marriage the two love birds went looking for a faith on a church tour together, they joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in October of that same year, partly at the urging of his daughter with his first wife Claire Beck, Mary Beck.
