Who was Dawn Bessire’s father?
Dawn’s father is Fred Bessire. He was a draftsman. Sheree North and Fred Bessire got married when she was just 16. They got married in 1948 in a beautiful wedding ceremony in the presence of their friends, families, and loved ones. five years later their marriage came to an end. They have not given any reason publicly about the reason that brought their marriage to end.
Two years after their marriage came to an end, her mother got married to television writer Bud Freeman; the marriage ended a year later. Her third marriage was to a psychologist, Gerhardt Sommer, with whom she had another daughter, Erica Eve. Their marriage also ended in divorce in 1963.
She died from a surgical Complication
On November 4, 2005, aged 73, Dawn’s mother passed away of complications following surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. At the time of her death, She was married to her fourth husband, Emmy Award-winning title designer Phillip “Phill” Norman.
Though her mother was a famous Hollywood personality, Dawn has been totally out of the picture.
