According to Big Brother.fandom Ivana and his elder brother Mauro no longer have relations due to his sister-in-law Wanda Nara, wife and proxy of Mauro. The publication went on to say that a “fierce war” is taking place between the sisters-in-laws. Ivana, among other things, the accusation of having removed her brother from the family.

However, Ivana’s mother told Lacapital-  “She [Ivana] misses him [Mauro] because she already separates us from a great distance: they live in Milan and we live in the Canary Islands,” said Ivana’s mother who also clarified that her children contact each other by message or by phone.

Aside from Hermano Argentina, Ivana also competed in Grande Fratello 16 and Gran Hermano Dúo 2.

Spain mistakenly honored Ivana Icardi for winning World Cup

The Spanish Government mistakenly honored Mauro Icardi’s sister instead of Women’s World Cup-winning captain Ivana Andres, with the country’s Royal Order of Sports Merit with the country’s Royal Order of Sports Merit, Spain’s National Sports Council (CSD) confirmed to Reuters.

After the incident, CSD issued an official apology for the “human error”. The sports council  “deeply regret” the blunder was published in an edition of Spain’s Official State Gazette (BOE). A correction was made to honor the correct Ivana, who lifted Spain’s first Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand in 2023.

Mauro Icardi’s sister, Ivana Icardi reacted in confusion on social media. She wrote “This really happened! How could they possibly get something like this wrong?,” The Internet personality wrote while sharing a copy of BOE’s page with her name on it.

Mauro Icardi began his football career with Vecindario in Gran Canaria after the family moved from Argentina to the Canary Islands when he was nine. The striker went on to play for the U-17 and 19 of Barcelona FC before moving to Serie A club Sampdoria to begin his professional career in 2012.

Currently, Icardi has signed a three-year contract with the club with Turkish Süper Lig club Galatasaray. As per the agreement, the Argentine professional footballer would receive a salary of €6 million per year, and a transfer fee of €10 million was paid to his former club Paris Saint-Germain.
