Thomas Roy Skerritt, professionally known as Tom Skerritt has been featured in 40 films and over 200 television episodes since 1962. Sue’s ex-husband has appeared in many movies which have become successful. 

He had his big-screen debut as Sergeant Stan Showalter’ in the 1962 film ‘War Hunt,’ directed by Denis Sanders, alongside Robert Redford. That same year, Skerritt made his television debut in the World War II series, “Combat!” (ABC, 1962-67), which led to prolific work in episodic television during the early years of his acting career.

With his experience in the Armed Forces, Sue’s ex-husband was able to perform well in his role in the 1970 American black-comedy war film M*A*S*H which became an instant hit. After this role, his fame started to grow as he appeared in many big movies. 

Sue Oran’s ex-husband has been married three times which includes Sue. His first wife was Charlotte Shanks, whom he had three children with and Sue was his second wife, they had one son together. His current wife is Julie Tokashiki, they have an adopted daughter called, Emi. Since 1988, Tom has divided his time between his Lake Washington home in suburban Seattle, Washington, and a second home on Lopez Island in the San Juan Islands.

With his works becoming successful and him gaining a lot of fame, Tom has also gained quite several nominations and Awards, which include winning the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 1993 for Picket Fences, Golden Globe Awards, Satellites Awards, and many others.
