They dated for one month after getting together in February 1955. On March 25, 1955, Tina Beth’s parents got married in a beautiful ceremony in the presence of their friends, family, and loved ones. The couple separated on July 12, 1955, due to Stephens’ physical abuse.Â
However, two weeks after the separation, Merry Anders discovered she was pregnant with their first child. Their daughter, Tina Beth Paige Anders, was born in March 1956. Anders and Stephens were divorced in June 1956. In 1986, Anders married engineer Richard Benedict; the couple remained married until his death in 1999.
On October 28, 2012, Tina Beth’s mother, Anders also died in Encino, California, aged 78. Her cause of death was not made known to the public.
